Our Commitment

Responsible Gaming

Expedi Explore Tour & Travel is built on the principle that resort entertainment should be safe, legal and enjoyable. This page provides comprehensive information about New Zealand gambling laws, responsible entertainment practices, and where to seek help if you or someone you know needs support.

Travel Support Can Be Harmful Know Your Limits
Travel Support should only ever be entertainment not a source of income or a way to solve financial problems. If you are gambling to relieve stress, borrowing money to gamble, missing work or family commitments because of gambling, or feeling out of control please stop and seek free confidential help immediately.

What We Do

Our Responsible Travel Commitments

Age Verification

We display age gate verification on every page. Minimum age is 18+ as required by New Zealand law. Luxury hotels verify ID at entry.

Land-Based Venues Only

Every venue on this website is a physical, land-based luxury hotel. We do not feature, recommend or facilitate any other form of entertainment.

Licensed Venues Only

Every resort property we feature holds a current licence from the New Zealand tourism standards. We independently verify all partnerships.

Guest Wellbeing First

Our team is trained to refer guests to support resources. We will never pressure guests to gamble or promote excessive play.

Set Personal Limits
Before visiting a resort, decide in advance how much money and time you are willing to spend. Treat any losses as the cost of entertainment never chase losses. Once your limit is reached, walk away.
Time Management
Signature environments are designed to be immersive. Set a phone alarm before entering. Take regular breaks, eat a full meal, and remember that fatigue impairs judgment. The resort will be there tomorrow your wellbeing matters more.
Manage Your Money
Only gamble with money you can afford to lose. Never use credit cards, loans or money set aside for rent, bills or family needs. Leave bank cards at your room and carry only your pre-agreed cash limit.
Understand the Games
All resort games have a house edge the resort always has a mathematical advantage. No system, strategy or "lucky streak" changes long-term odds. Understanding this helps you play for enjoyment rather than profit expectation.
Know When to Stop
Winning a large sum is not a sign to keep playing it is a moment to consider stopping and enjoying your good fortune. Travel Support when tired, emotional, drunk or stressed leads to poor decisions and potential harm.
Protect Others
Be mindful of how your gambling habits affect those around you. If a friend or family member shows signs of problem gambling, express concern calmly and direct them to the free helpline: +64 9 886 2400.
